Following in the footsteps of his father, Rav Chaim Goodman, zt"l, who taught at Yeshiva Torah Vodaath for forty years, Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Goodman taught Tanach and Talmud for forty five years in yeshiva high schools until his recent retirement. Having also retired from his pulpit at the Young Israel of Far Rockaway, Rabbi Goodman hopes to complete a commentary on the entire Chumash in the coming years.

A musmach of both Rav Yosef Dov Soloveichik, zt"l, and Rav Moshe Shotzkes, zt"l, Rabbi Goodman also attained a D.Ed. in Jewish Education at Ferkauf GSE. He resides in Far Rockaway with his wife, Batya, and has four children.
